Stop Climate Chaos Scotland is a growing organisation with a huge remit. With a campaign that must achieve its objective by 2012, we have an urgent need for volunteers. If you have time and are concerned about climate change, please do contact us. We have projects that require anything from project management to turning up on the day, and we will be delighted to hear from you.

Throughout 2007 we are looking for people who are interested in becoming climate change speakers. We are regularly approached and asked to provide speakers for schools, churches, student organisations and community groups, but unfortunately we cannot always cover these due to a shortage of volunteers. We'd like to provide volunteers with the knowledge and confidence to go out and spread the word on climate change. If you or anyone you know would like to learn a bit more about climate change - the basic science, the political situation, and - most importantly - practical steps that the man/woman on the street can take to reduce his/her carbon emissions - so that you can then go out into your communities, schools, or churches and spread the message, then you might be interested in attending.
