who are we

The Scottish Parliament, with its devolved powers, has significant influence on policies that can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Scotland, as a nation, can and must lead by example if we are serious about encouraging a collective global response to climate change. The Stop Climate Chaos Scotland coalition, as part of the growing UK wide coalition, contains most of the UK's leading environmental and international development organisations as well as women's organisations, activist groups and faith based campaigns. Our aim is to build irresistible popular pressure on politicians to take steps to halt climate change.
